The God's Judgement

1.The poor people are starving and then Bishop burns them in a fire.
2.They turn to Bishop Hatto for food because he had lot's food from last years stock.
3.He burns the people because all they do is eat corn and then they will quickly run out of food supplies."Of Rats that only consume the corn."
4.It means that he either died or or literally never slept again.
5.They are annoyed for burning the people and storing the corn away from them, they also might be hungry.
6.Because he had heard how much rats there were and wanted to get to a safe place.
7.I think it means that the rats were angry and hungry , considering that the phrase "His eyes are burning every time he looks at me" exists.
8.He wanted to include the fact that there were so much of them that even the cat was afraid.
9.I think it suggests that god sent the tonnes of rats to kill Bishop because of his selfishness and that's why the story is called God's Judgement.
10.The man Bishop Hatto is a selfish man.I say that because instead of sharing his food with the poor people he burned them. "I'faith 'tis an excellent bonfire!"
11. The mood gets more scarier at the last 3 stanzas because it describes how Bishop is eaten. And the pace races to finish the story.The pace is tied to the description.
13.The Rats, because usually the rats aren't that smart to reach or eat Bishop.
14.I liked the story because it is a metaphor story. My favorite part of the story was at the start of the story when the corn is said to be rotten since it's the main reason why Bishop burned all the poor people.The summer and autumn had been so wet.That in winter the corn was growing yet, "'Twas a piteous sight to see al ground the grain lie rotting on the ground." That tells me that the corn was rotting.
